Our most commonly asked Kindy questions

Q: Can my 3 year old attend your Kindergarten program?
A: Priority is given to children who are of Kindergarten age that is, turning 4 before June 30 in the year they attend. If spaces permit, we may be able to offer your child an early entry into our Kindergarten program.

Q: Do you offer after hours care?
A: We do not currently offer after hours care. However, in 2019 we introduced an extended hours Kindergarten group where sessions run from 8.30 am to 4pm each Thursday and Friday.

Q: How do I enrol my child?
A: You can follow the links to complete a Waiting List Form here. Offers begin in May the year prior to your child’s Kindy year and are based on your position on the wait list.

Q: When should I place my child’s name on the waiting list?
A: Due to limited spaces and popular demand we encourage families to place their child’s name down early to avoid disappointment.

Q: Can my child attend two Kindergarten programs?
A: Funding regulations stipulate that children are only eligible to attend one Approved Kindergarten program

Q: Do you provide meals?
A: No. The children bring their own morning tea and lunch each day.

Q: What do I need to bring to Kindy?
A:

  • Fresh food in a lunch box
  • A drink bottle
  • A spare set of clean clothes
  • Wide brimmed hat
  • Sheets

Q: Can I visit the Kindy?
A: You are most welcome to visit our Kindergarten! Please contact us to arrange a suitable day and time

Q: Is there a uniform?
A: No. However we do have Kindergarten shirts and sheets available for purchase.
